Sorry this picture is a bit fuzzy my ipad wasn't liking the lighting. Of course when I tried again she was done.

What have you been up to?

I wanted to share some fun pictures from the last few months. These days we are so busy that most of the pictures we take are either done on  our phone or my Ipad. I am great at putting them in my Facebook page but not so much on here. I really need to be better at updating. The story of my life.  First though I wanted to share another typical Alex quote.
Alex: Mom, is Emily driving to preschool today?

Mom: Yup
Alex: Ugg, her car is soooo boring. Do you know why it's boring Mom?
Mom: No, Why?

Alex: Because it's hot, so hot. I like our car better, we have a heater.

He cracks me up! Enjoy the pictures!

Alex and Lily enjoying breakfast for St. Patty's Day!

We took the kids to Baby Animal Days this year. It's an event held in Logan for Easter. We met the Johnsons and my childhood friend Laura for the day. So fun! This picture is Alex showing off his bear face. We got these masks while waiting in line to see the baby bear cubs. They were so dang cute!

Lily's bear face

Alex and his buddy Parker ( Laura's son) being crazy cowboys. Both of their faces crack me up

Shae and Alex seeing how big they are compared to the bears

Laura and I stuffing our faces. Not a great pictures of us but still very priceless these days since we don't get many pictures together. Check out Laura's corn dog. It was a foot long until she got to it. :)

Our neighbor and friend turned the big 40 so we got to play at the clubhouse to celebrate. This is where I found my kiddos.

Our new quote above our bed. I smile every time I see it.
My silly kids wanting to pose for a picture
Alex has been taking our lessons from our Neighbor Emily.
He has really improved on his skills. He drew this bunny for me for Easter. I love it!
Jason was out grilling and Lily wanted to join him so she went to get some shoes on.
All ready she said, I couldn't stop laughing.

My little cowgirl, can you believe in just a few weeks she will be two. I tear up just thinking about it.

Another typical morning at our pad

Life has been crazy busy. Both kids have been dealing with fevers. I have two stamp classes to prep for this week and Alex starts art lessons. Will it ever slow down? I have so many pictures to post that I'm ccontinuing to play catchup. Here are some fun ones taken the morning after Halloween. I sure love these kiddos.

I can't believe I haven't posted about preschool yet. Alex loves going to Miss Amy's Imagine Preschool with our neighbor Mayci Call. They are there two days a week for 2 1/2 hours. My only complaint is that its not more often. He adores it and to be honest I enjoy it too. He is growing so fast. Leaning so many new things each and every time he goes. I also love seeing his projects he brings home. He is always so proud of his work. Here are some fun pictures so far of preschool.

 Pictures from his first day

I love these two together. Alex told me the other day that he wants to marry Mayci so he can kiss her. I said let's wait a few more years okay buddy.

Santa makes a special stop at preschool. Alex changed his wish list from a fire engine to a kitchen set that he could play with his little sister Lily. Convenient for me since I'd already bought a kitchen. ;)

Don't Say...

This kid cracks me up. He is full of personality and keeps us on our toes. Last night we were sitting around the dinner table.

Jason: This salad is really good but it could use a little acid.
Alex: (yelling) Dad, don't say ass.

Jason and I couldn't help but burst into laughter.

Glad we have him around to keep us in line.

My Cute Kids

It's been so long since I've updated my blog. You know it's bad when you baby has grown into a little girl. Here are some of my favorite pictures taken in September of my two kids.

Alex is 4 1/2 and loving preschool. Most days ( this week has been rough)  he is a sweet little boy who loves to play with trains, his new kitchen set, trucks, cars and outside.

Lily is just shy of 2 and a handful. She is our little climber getting into everything. She loves to play with her babies, watch barney and do anything with her big brother. Hope you enjoy these pictures. I think my cousin Jes who took these is amazing. I'm lucky to have her.

Who are you?

Long time no see. I know I have fallen off the face of the planet. Well not really. Life is busy and Facebook has become my media outlet. I do however enjoy my blog as a form of communication as well as a journal so it is time to get back to it. Jason bought me a iPad 2 for Christmas so hopefully that will help me to get back into it. Here is a recent self portrait of me. Life is good! Be back soon, I promise!

Did someone say Party?

It's 11 pm and I have just come upstairs after having a Chicks and Chocolate SU class. Chocolate cards and a fountain with lots of goodies to dip. I finished my class, cleaned up and headed upstairs to bed when I found this.

I guess someone didn't want to sleep while there was a PARTY going on at our house. Looks a bit uncomfortable if you ask me.

We traded Alex in for this goofy kid. He has had me laughing all morning so I thought you could use a laugh as well. These characters were created by Alex himself, I had nothing to do with it. ;)

Stay tuned for video of Lily climbing the stairs. She did it for the first time last Thursday all the way to the top with no fear but I haven't had a chance to record it while Jas is here to help me. Hopefully I will get to it soon. She is growing up fast.
